Montenegrin households consumed 87.426.128 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity in September, i.e. 29.6% less compared to the consumption incurred in August or 0.5 % less compared to consumption reached in September 2016.
Average September bill for electricity consumed by households at the level of Montenegro (excluding non-read metering points in the buildings which are not permanently resided) amounts to € 28.74. Households in Žabljak record the lowest average consumption of €20.89, while those in Ulcinj recorded the highest consumption during the last month since households located there averagely consumed electricity valued at €36.65. Bill exceeding the amount of €150 will be delivered to 0.65% of customers, while consumption span of €100 to €150 has been registered with 0.94% of customers.
September bills reduced by the amount of discount for regular payers will be delivered to 54.1% of households in Montenegro, i.e. 183.587 customers.
The fifth cycle of campaign SHARE THE BURDEN starts on November 1st, 2017. Those households having the outstanding debt on the basis of consumed electricity may join the campaign. A condition the customers must fulfil is that they have paid their three last electricity bills, and by participation in this campaign households have the opportunity to settle their debt in fixed monthly instalments of €20, without down payment while calculation of default interest shall be cancelled while the Contract is in force.
