In August 2014, households consumed 106.274.111 kWh, which is 9% more compared with consumption in the previous month, i.e. 5.3% lower compared to the consumption registered in the same period last year.
Average bill for electricity consumed by households in August (excluding non-read metering points in buildings, which are not permanently resided) amounts to €37 and is by 8% higher compared to the average electricity bill for July.
Households in Bijelo Polje and Cetinje have the lowest average consumption of €27.5 while the highest average consumption in the previous month was read in Ulcinj (€69). Bills exceeding the amount of 100€ will be delivered to about 3.1% of customers from the category of households, that consumed considerably higher amount of electricity compared with the average consumption, i.e. over 1000kWh. Bills for August reduced by the amount of discount for regular payers will be delivered to 141.387 households.
The “Share the Burden” action has closed on September 1 and as many as 25,000 customers are enjoying all the benefits of debt repayment in fixed monthly instalments of €20. In order to keep the protocol in force, the customers are required to settle the liabilities under the protocol, i.e. €20 worth of instalment and the current bill, by the last day of the month.
