Regular annual overhaul of Thermal Power Plant “Pljevlja” begins tomorrow and will last until May 25th.
This generating facility will be out of operation until the mentioned date. Standard works on main installations will be performed during the overhaul, and planned investment activities, initiated during the previous years, will be completed.
“Overhaul works on boiler installation and in the power house, as well as in auxiliary facilities, will be performed within the next 30 days. Investment-related part includes replacement of manholes in mills, insulation of boiler installation, replacement of a part of the pipeline in chemical treatment installation, including works aimed at bringing the capacity of the cooling system of turbine installation to the designed level” said Luka Jovanović, Director of TPP “Pljevlja”.

Price of overhaul, standard and investment works has been projected to about 4.5 million euros.
In the first three months of this year, TPP “Pljevlja” generated 410.094 MWh, which is 5.5 percent more compared with generation planned for the first quarter. Last year this generating facility delivered 1317 GWh to Montenegrin electricity transmission system, which makes 42.63 percent of total electricity generated in 2014 in the power plants of EPCG.
