Blood donation campaign on the occasion of the Day of TPP “Pljevlja”

Club of the Voluntary Blood Donors of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore organized one more successful Campaign of voluntary blood donation, this time on the occasion of the Day of TPP „Pljevlja“. 34 voluntary donors responded to the campaign which was organized in cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Cabinet of Pljevlja and 32 units of the precious liquid were provided.

This is the second year in a row that Club of Voluntary Blood Donors of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore gives its contribution to the celebration of the thermal power plant anniversary with the plan for this Campaign to become traditional.

Ratko Pušonjić, coordinator of the branch office of the Club of Voluntary Blood Donors of EPCG in Pljevlja is satisfied with the number of voluntary donors who accepted the invitation to participate in the campaign.

Ladies were also among the humanists. Rada Kovačević (TPP “Pljevlja“) says that her desire to help the others was stronger than the initial fear of blood donating.

- All those who are afraid should just try because it is most difficult when you donate for the first time, Rada said to all those who are able but do not take part in voluntary blood donation out of different prejudices.

Beside members of the Club of Voluntary Blood Donors from Pljevlja branch office (TPP “Pljevlja”, ED Pljevlja and OU Supply), blood was also donated by a number of humanists from Coal Mine. The campaign was once again successful due to considerable contribution of the voluntary blood donors – members of our Club from the Company's headquarter in Nikšić, HPP „Perućica“ and ED Nikšić.

Club of Voluntary Blood Donors of EPCG was an important participant of the voluntary blood donation campaign organized on the occasion of the Day of Municipality of Nikšić, on September 18th. The next campaign is planned for November 29th in Nikšić, on the Red Cross Day of Montenegro.
