Consumption 2% higher

In March, households consumed 109.690.711 kWh (kilowatt hours) of electricity, which is by 2% more than consumption in February, i.e. 3% less compared with consumption in March 2015.

The average electricity bill in March for households in Montenegro (excluding non-read metering points in the buildings, which are not permanently resided) amounted to €35.85. Households in Žabljak recorded the lowest consumption of €19.27, and the highest consumption during the previous month was recorded in Kotor where households averagely consumed electricity in the value of cca €45.2.

The bill exceeding the amount of €150 shall be delivered to 1.28 % customers, and consumption of €100 - €150 was read with 2.87 % of customers.

The discounted March bill for regular payers shall be received by as many as 47.4% of Montenegrin households, i.e. 156.774 customers.

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has initiated the prize competition 'Let the Good Energy Drive You 2'. This prize competition will take the following five months and it will have three more rounds. FORD FOCUS will be awarded in each round. The first Ford Focus was awarded on March 15th, and all households without debt for electricity consumption at the end of February were entitled to participate. Another Ford Focus will be awarded in May (the amount of debt is €0 at the end of April), then in July (amount of debt is €0 at the end of June) and in September (amount of debt is €0 at the end of August).

The third prize competition has been planned to take place in October of 2016, when another Ford Mondeo is going to be awarded in addition to many other prizes. Only members of the Golden Team will be entitled to participate, i.e. all the customers that have their electricity bills regularly settled on a monthly basis, from December of 2015 until November of 2016.
