DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN ON ECOLOGICAL RECONSTRUCTION OF THE UNIT I OF TPP PLJEVLJA HAS BEEN AWARDED TO THE COMPANY STEAG ENERGY

STEAG ENERGY SERVICES GmbH is a German company seated in Esen. It is owned by STEAG GmbH, industrial group from Esen, specialized in the area of energy, conventional and nuclear sources as well as in the area of renewable sources of energy. It has implemented large number of projects during last couple of years, in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America and is present in more than 80 countries worldwide. It is one of the biggest electricity producers in Germany, possessing the plants with total installed capacity of over 7 000 MW.

We expect signing of the contract with the German company in the following couple of days, and the arrival of such a renowned company in Montenegro represents a serious guarantee that the planned reconstruction of Unit I shall be carried out in line with the latest standards and technologies, securing thereby a stable and safe operation of TPP in the following couple of decades.
