Eight interested institutions applied for the International public invitation for providing financial resources for financing the project "Solari 3000+" and "Solari 500+", which was announced by Elektroprivreda Crne Gore on August 2, 2021. The bids were submitted by: Investment and Development Fund, Erste Bank a.d. Podgorica, Prva banka Crne Gore, Energy Tech Industry Norwey, Consortium CKB bank a.d. Podgorica and NLB Bank a.d. Podgorica, Ziraat bank, Shanghai Electric and Zapad banka, while the company Progres i CO d.o.o. made an offer to install solar panels.
Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, in accordance with its long-term goals, sustainability strategy and bilateral cooperation with the European Union, in order to reduce CO2 emissions, has decided to implement the project Solari 3000+, which focuses on households and the ability to generate their own energy, installing solar panels on individual housing facilities. And, due to the great interest, the project "Solari 500+" was also launched, which refers to the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of small businesses and public institutions and companies.
"The bids of eight financial institutions that have expressed their readiness to finance projects, Solari 3000+ and Solari 500+, worth 30,000,000 euros, have been opened. The best proof that we are on the right path. EPCG is working!”, said the President of the Board of Directors Milutin Đukanović.
At the opening of bids, the Commission for conducting the negotiation procedure registered the applicants and recorded all the elements that will be the subject of negotiations regarding the manner of securing the loan.
