On Monday, May 16th, 2022 in Podgorica, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) and the Clinical Centre of Montenegro (KCCG), signed a Donation Agreement which stipulates that EPCG, in accordance with the Decision of the Board of Directors, allocated EUR 36,300 for the purchase of ultrasound machine for the needs of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic.
The Agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of EPCG (Nikola Rovčanin) and the Director of KCCG (Dr Ljiljana Radulović), while the ceremony was also attended by a member of the Board of Directors of EPCG (Milun Božović) and Director of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic (Dr Srđan Medan).
The Chief Executive Officer of EPCG, Nikola Rovčanin, expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Company, due to good operating results in the previous period, was able to support the improvement and modernization of capacities of the most important institutions in Montenegro, and undoubtedly, KCCG has a special position in this regard.
"Our strategic commitment implies socially responsible business operation, and I am certain that nothing confirms our determination to act in this manner better than such arrangements." The donation to the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro is an indicator of a clearly developed awareness that without work on improving the situation in other segments of the society there is no wholesome progress of any company, not even EPCG. Furthermore, the importance of KCCG work encourages us to continue cooperation, because we are certain that the funds are donated for the right cause and that all citizens of Montenegro will benefit from it, "Rovčanin said.
Emphasizing the importance of this donation for the institution she manages, Dr. Radulović pointed out the following:
"Clinical Centre of Montenegro is grateful to Elektroprivreda Crne Gore for an exceptional sensibility for the needs of patients in the largest medical institution in our country. On this occasion, owing to Elektroprivreda, we are improving the technical capacities of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic. The ultrasound machine, which is the third one in this Clinic, will improve and accelerate the provision of health services in KCCG. This is particularly important because we have to continuously renew the equipment, which is unfortunately mostly obsolete, from our own funds, as well as through donations. We would like to once again thank Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, hoping that KCCG will remain at the top of its priorities when it comes to socially responsible business operation."
This Agreement, as a confirmation of the excellent cooperation between EPCG and KCCG, represents continuation of our largest energy company’s mission and improvement of the most important medical institution’s capacities.
