The Chief Executive Officer of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, Nikola Rovčanin, handed over the keys of three off-road vehicles from the vehicle fleet of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore to the representatives of the Ministry of Health in the Government of Montenegro.
The vehicles are intended for health centers in the rural area of our country, which will increase the efficiency and quality of health care in the area that is mainly inhabited by the elderly population.
The State Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Veljo Čađenović, thanked EPCG and pointed out that the donated vehicles were of existential importance and great help in the process of providing health care to vitally endangered patients.
- Investing in health care today is a priority compared to all other investments. It is a question of our existence. Our obligation, both, professional and human, is to take care and invest in our health and survival of our population, because we have witnessed the suffering and pitiless combat of health workers since the beggining of the fight against coronavirus, during the last and this year, said Čađenović.
The Chief Executive Officer of EPCG, Nikola Rovčanin, once again reiterated the commitment of EPCG to help the community, above all, the health system.
- Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, as a socially responsible Company, always tries to feel the needs and share the fate of the whole society and therefore, in accordance with our capabilities, we will continue to help everyone who needs it most, especially to the health care institutions, since the health of our citizens is priceless. This has been particularly evident since the appearance of COVID disease. I hope the vehicles we donated to the Ministry of Health, in that sense, will be of the expected help, Rovčanin concluded.
Representatives of the Ministry of Health expressed the expectation that the example of well-doing of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore will be incentive and invitation to other Companies and institutions to respond and show humanity and compassion, primarily towards vulnerable groups of citizens.
