As part of its socially responsible activities and in order to mark successful beginning of the new school year Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has donated to High School ‘Stojan Cerović’ from Nikšić and High School ‘Slobodan Škerović’ set of 102 books which relate to the cultural heritage of Montenegro and which represents an important testimony of its history, culture and identity.
Assistance provided in order to improve educational institutions and institutions of a special importance, sports associations and individuals have always been priority of our company. Implementation of this initiative significantly contributes to affirmation of the cultural heritage of Montenegro, it also contributes to school libraries and represents continuous support to educational institutions in Montenegro because our company has never forgotten its responsibility towards the society and the state in which it successfully performs its activity.
As part of marking 110 years of existence of High School ‘Slobodan Škerović’, we would also like to remind that Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has significantly contributed to renovation of the school library, which is unique both in terms of its appearance as well as its library holdings. Furthermore, in June this year our company appropriated another donation to the High School from Podgorica that will be used to fully equip one classroom with school furniture. In October last year we donated computers and computer equipment to Elementary School ‘Milija Nikčević’ from Kličevo in Nikšić.
EPCG will continue its mission concerning active participation in the improvement of conditions of educational as well as medical protection of all our citizens. We will continue our mission aimed at donating certain amounts of funds to purchase necessary equipment in several another educational and medical institutions.
