EPCG HAS DONATED 62.000 EURO TO GENERAL HOSPITAL NIKŠIĆ FOR PROCUREMENT OF ORTHOPEDIC SURGICAL TABLE

Contract has been signed between EPCG Chief Executive Officer (Nikola Rovčanin) and PHI General Hospital Nikšić Director (Ph.D. Marko Mitrović).

This donation creates conditions for implementation of modern surgical techniques from the field of orthopedic surgery and traumatology, as are the follows:

• For the first time, implantation of a total cement knee endoprosthesis,
• For the first time, arthroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures,
• All urgent surgery procedures in the treatment of acute traumatology of the locomotor system – osteosynthesis, external fixation, implantation of partial hip endoprosthesis,
• Significant increasing in the number of cement and cementless hip endoprostheses implantation.

This increases the quality of health services in this institution to the significantly higher level.

EPCG Chief Executive Officer, Nikola Rovčanin, emphasized the significance of socially responsible business of the company headed by him. 

“It is a great honor for me to hand over this donation to the General Hospital Nikšić on behalf of EPCG. Our company continue with the mission of helping to the community within which it operates. I think that EPCG with its relation to institutions from the field of health care, education and culture, confirms the commitment to the general interest. We exist because of the citizens of Montenegro, and regarding this, strive to contribute to the betterment, not just by quality work within electricity generation as the main activity, but with readiness to be helpful to all who work for the good of Montenegrin society. Health institutions like General Hospital Nikšić are certainly of the primary significance for our community”, emphasized Rovčanin.

PHI General Hospital Nikšić Director, Ph.D.Marko Mitrović, expressed his the gratitude to the donation, emphasizing the benefit that citizens will have through the modernization of working conditions.

 “I’m using this opportunity that, in the name of PHI General Hospital Nikšić, show gratitude for help to Mr. Rovčanin, as the Chief Executive Officer of EPCG. This donation will benefit not just patients from Nikšić and from the wider area that went to the other health care institutions (Clinical Center of Montenegro and SHI Risan) for some surgical interventions from the field of orthopedic surgery and traumatology, but patients from municipalities that gravitate to Nikšić (Šavnik, Žabljak, Plužine), as well as patients from the municipality of Pljevlja”, said Ph.D.Marko Mitrović.
