In July, households consumed 109.980.073 kWh (kilowatt hours) of electricity, which is 22.8% more than consumption in June, i.e. 4.7% less compared with the consumption in July 2015.
The average electricity bill in July for households in Montenegro (excluding non-read metering points in the buildings, which are not permanently resided) amounted to €35.42. Households in Pljevlja recorded the lowest average consumption of €22.79, and the highest consumption during the previous month was recorded in Ulcinj where households, on average, consumed electricity in the value of cca €58.73.
The bill exceeding the amount of €150 will be delivered to 1.3 % customers, and consumption of €100 - €150 was read with 1.88 % of customers.
The discounted July bills for regular payers will be delivered to even 51.3% of Montenegrin households, i.e. 169.694 customers.
On August 1st, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore launched the campaign SHARE THE BURDEN 4.
The campaign can be joined by all household customers who owe electricity-related debt, irrespective of the amount thereof, as well as by all the households whose existing payment contracts, signed within the campaign Share the Burden 2 two years ago, expire. The campaign lasts from August 1st through October 31st.
Households may repay their electricity-related debt, irrespective of its amount, in fixed monthly instalments of €20 each, without share, on condition three last bills have been settled. Customers who join the campaign in August should have their April, May and June bills settled; however, those customers who want to join the campaign in September should have their May, June and July bills settled, while signing the contract in October requires customers to have their June, July and August bills settled. From the moment of signing the contract, as well as during regular settlement of obligations signed under the contract there will be no calculation of a default interest. In order for the debt settlement contract to remain into force €20 instalment should be paid every month in addition to the current electricity bill.
In addition, the fourth round of a prize contest 'Let the Good Energy Drive You 2' is underway. All households with electricity debt amounting to €0 on August 31st will be automatically included in the database. The fourth Ford Focus will be awarded in September and public withdrawal of winners, i.e. determination of the results of a prize contest will be organized on September 13th in the studio of TVCG, and broadcasted on the following day in the Morning Programme of TVCG.
Let us remind you that the first Ford Focus was awarded to a customer from Ulcinj and second one was awarded to a customer from Podgorica, while a customer from Bar won the third Ford Focus.
The third round of the prize contest has been planned for October 2016, when another Ford Mondeo will be awarded in addition to many other prizes and only members of the Golden Team will be entitled to take part in this round, i.e. all the customers who have continuously and regularly settled their electricity bills from December 2015 through November 2016.
Let us invite our customers to use this opportunity and start settling regularly their electricity bills, because in the future loyalty programmes are planned for this category and it will generate additional benefits.
