Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, together with the Mastercard Company, has organized ‘Pay your bill online and win a car’ prize contest for the period May 11 – June 30 2021. The prize draw was held on July 19, where Slobodanka Dragović from Podgorica won the main prize i.e. hybrid SUV VOLVO XC40.
There were 11,997 households in the prize database, i.e. those who, in the period May 11 – June 30, paid online their April and May electricity bills by Mastercard via www.epcg.com portal.
The first prize winner Slobodanka Dragović from Podgorica said she was excited and surprised to learn she was the winner of EPCG’s main prize.
‘When it comes to this prize, at first instance I was taken aback. I was not sure what the main prize was and I asked for clarification. I knew there was a prize contest but my husband was the one who paid electricity bills and made payments via Mastercard. We are regular payers and by being a regular payer one gets a monthly discount significant in terms of consumption and home budget. My message to people would be to trust in prize contests given that happy winners are drawn in a transparent and what people would like to say no fraud-ridden way. I am an example of the abovementioned and I can ascertain it in the true sense of the word.’
Dragan Kadić, Chief of marketing in FU Supply awarded the car keys to the winner.
‘Congratulations to the winner. EPCG will continue to reward households that settle their obligations regularly and are Golden Team members. I would like to thank to our partner the Mastercard Company with which we have successfully organized the prize contest and I expect this cooperation is going to continue. I hereby invite all Golden Team members who haven’t activated the e-bill yet to do so, because the chance of winning is thereby increased’.
Olga Dedović, an Account Manager for Montenegrin market in Mastercard Company attended the event of handing the keys over and thereby she said:
‘Safety, simplicity and speed of online card payments are the main reasons for their growing popularity and that is why citizens rely on them for different types of buying or paying including monthly bills as well. Elektroprivreda Crne Gore is among the first companies in the country that recognized potential of online payments in improvement of both customers experience and its own business operations and I am delighted the Company Mastercards was a secure and reliable partner to EPCG’s since the beginning of a new digital era in EPCG. The finished prize game is a nice way to thank the existing users and invite some new ones to see all the benefits of online payment and I am sure that similar activities and tailor-made innovations await for us in the future.’
Aside from the car, additional 200 deductions of 50 € and 100 € were allocated in this prize contest to all the Golden Team members i.e. those who at the same time use e-bill service.
Number of households that regularly settle their electricity bills and at the same time are members of Golden Team amounts to 199,707. If all of them continue to settle their liabilities regularly, they will get 12.25€ discount to their electricity bills by the end of the current year.
We hereby invite all customers to make their payments online, given that it is simple and secure as well as healthier for users and even desirable at this moment when recommendations in regards to physical distance due to COVID 19 pandemic are to be followed. Payments can be made via the EPCG portal without registration and commissions. Electricity bill can also be paid from abroad via the EPCG bill portal without any commission costs.
