In January, households consumed 132,848.634 kWh (kilowatt-hours) - 14.5% more than in December, or 11% more than in January of 2014.
Increase in consumption was caused by fall of temperature, especially during first ten days of January. Daily maximum was recorded on January 1 - 9518 MWh (megawatt-hours) for distribution customers, what is 8.5% more than the maximum recorded in January of last year.
The highest daily consumption (distribution customers) in January was recorded in Podgorica - 3121 MWh (megawatt-hours), what is 8.6% more relative to the last year's December daily average consumption and 11.2% more relative to the last year's January daily average consumption recorded in the capital city.
The average January bill for households (if excluding unread metering points in facilities that are not constantly inhabited) stands at €45.12. Households in the Mojkovac municipality record the lowest consumption – €25.3, and municipalities of Podgorica and Tivat record the highest consumption during last month – cca €54. Bill worth more than €150 shall be received by 2.64% of customers, while 5.21% of customers record €100-150 consumption.
January bills reduced by a discount for regular payers shall be received by even €142.619 customers.
