JANUARY CONSUMPTION LOWER BY 2%

In January of 2018 households consumed 127.758.045 kWh, which is around 2% less than December consumption, or 16.7% less relative to consumption recorded in January of 2017.

The average January electricity bill for households, at the level of Montenegro, amounts to €41.63 (providing non-read metering points in buildings that are not permanently inhabited are excluded). Households in Mojkovac have recorded the lowest average consumption of €23.79, and the largest consumption was read in Kotor where households consumed an average of €53.28. The bill worth more than €150 will be received by 2.46% of customers, and consumption worth €100-€150 was read with 5.10% of customers.

January bills reduced by the amount of a discount awarded to regular payers will be received by even 54.8% of Montenegrin households, or by 187.962 customers.

On January 31, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore made a breakdown for entry to the Golden Team. We have a record high number of members of the Golden Team – even 187.962 customers. On the last day of January they owed no electricity-related debt and they became entitled to the 13% discount of the value of calculated active energy, thus acquiring the right to participate in the prize contest ‘Golden Team, Discounts and Prizes’ with rich prize pool: OPEL ASTRA K Enjoy, two vouchers of €1,000 each for travelling by choice, three cell phones iPhone 8 64GB, four tablets iPad Air and five vouchers for fuel of €100 each. Drawing of prizes has been scheduled for February 20 in the studio of TVCG. The amount of a discount to be awarded in the future to members of the Golden Team has been increased from 10% to 13% of calculated value of active energy.

New cycle of the Campaign Share the Burden was finished on January 31. During the term of this Campaign, 12 420 customers recognized debt settlement benefits offered by EPCG. Previously mentioned customers have signed an Agreement on settlement of liabilities while 9 500 customers continued repayment of debt under favorable conditions, i.e. those customers had already signed agreements within the campaign Share the Burden. Debt structure in signed agreements points out the campaign’s justifiability and customers’ interest in such debt settling. Near 11 000 of customers with debt exceeding € 440, whereof 8 000 of household with debt exceeding € 1 000 used the benefits offered by agreement signing.
