MORE THAN HALF A MILLION FOR QUALITY SUPPLY OF PLJEVLJA

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has started with the implementation of twelve investment projects totalling more than €620,000.00, what will considerably improve voltage conditions for more than 4.500 customers in Pljevlja municipality.

'The most valuable project we are currently implementing includes construction of two substations 'Hram Bogiševac' in the settlement of Guke, with the installation of high-voltage cables and fitting into low-voltage network. The investment amounts to cca. 202,000.00, and after the construction more than 1500 customers will have improved quality of supply', said Igor Golubović, Regional manager for Pljevlja, Šavnik, Žabljak, pointing out that the 10 kV line, partly running through densely populated area, will be relocated.

Substation is being constructed in Komini, in addition to installation of the two high-voltage lines, thus connecting newly-built substation into the ring with the two existing substations (SS 35 kV Volođa and Guke) what would increase safety of operations of electric power facilities. Upon completion of this project worth cca €125,000.00, around one thousand customers from Komini and part of Radosavac, will be supplied more reliably.

Mr Golubović has pointed that the construction of substation in Ševari, worth around €66,000.00, is underway. Once it has been commissioned nearly 400 households will be supplied in a more quality manner.

'The three substations are being currently constructed in villages of Milunići, Podborovi i Potkrajci, worth around 108,000.00, together with connecting lines and fitting into low-voltage network', said Golubović.

Since the beginning of the year, Local Distribution Unit Pljevlja finalized about 30 thousand euros worth reconstruction of LV network in settlements Balibegovo Brdo and Kamen, wherein the quality of supply was significantly degraded by unauthorized construction. Substations “Potrlica I” and “Potrlica II” were commissioned in March and April. Also, complete reconstruction of LV network in Odžak village was finalized during this year.

The tender was launched for the selection of the most favourable bid for procurement of works on construction of underground LV network in Potrlica settlement, with estimated value of about €90,000.

Part of the plan for this year is initiation of construction of outgoing feeder of 35kV overhead line from the substation 35/10 kV “Odžak”, providing thereby more reliable supply for nearly 800 customers in villages in the area from Pljevlja to Kosanica, Maoče, Bobovo and OdžakGolubović said.

Furthermore, on March 1st, Elektroprireda Crne Gore initiated implementation of the II phase of the Project on modernization of electricity consumption metering, worth €36 mil. Within the concerned project, over 4 thousand of new multifunctional meters will be installed in Pljevlja municipality by the end of September. Instalment of meters implies reconstruction of the existing network (replacement of wooden poles by concrete poles and instalment of aerial bundled conductors) which will considerably improve the quality of supply.

„Achieved results and EPCG’s intention to continuously invest in the distribution system encourage us and guarantee our customers high level of quality and stability of voltage conditions in Pljevlja” Golubović concluded.
