Being strongly oriented towards socially responsible business operations and having understanding for the difficulties that our country is faced with in terms of strengthening capacities for health protection during deteriorated epidemiological situation, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore is determined to provide support to the public institutions, particularly those intended for children.
Following such orientation, Mr. Nikola Rovčanin, our company's CEO, at the today's meeting with Ms. Bojana Razić, director of PPI Đina Vrbica from Podgorica, handed over the donation in the form of sanitary equipment to this institution.
'On many ocasions we have emphasized the EPCG's determination to position itself as a socially responsible company. Such orientation becomes particularly important in this sensitive moment when Montenegro is faced with various effects of Covid-19 pandemic. Having in mind the field of our business operations, we primarily aim at development of the energy sector, however, we will never neglect the needs of our citizens and public institutions which are backbone of our everyday lives. This donation is an example of the good will of Elektroprivreda, but also an indicator of the ability of educational institutions to adapt to the challenges of nowadays', Mr. Rovčanin said.
'Thanks to good cooperation with Mr. Nikola Rovčanin, EPCG CEO, our institution has been donated the sanitary equipment. This gesture is particularly significant bearing in mind the present situation of our pedagogic-educational system, faced with epidemiological risks', Ms. Razić pointed out.
As PPI Đina Vrbica is engaged in implementation of the international program Eco School, aimed at raising awareness of the youngest population about environmental protection, Ms. Razić stated that further cooperation was agreed with Mr Rovčanin through numerous activities regarding Energy Efficiency.
