EPCG Management, carrying out the activities on behalf of the Special Purpose Vehicle that will be established in the next period, as decided by the EPCG Board of Directors, held the first meeting with the representatives of Skoda Praha, the first ranked offer for the project of construction of the second block of TPP Pljevlja.
We would like to remind that Skoda Praha, based on economical-technical data submitted, is the first ranked company among 9 that were interested for this project and had sent their offers. The negotiations will be continued with company from Checz Republic related to the elements of the future contract in case of realization of this investments.
EPCG will in parallel continue the activities with the consultant UniCredit, in order to find and choose the possible partner which would participate in the investment in the second block of TPP Pljevlja.
Company Škoda Praha offered construction of the second block with power of 254 MW and electricity efficiency 39,5% for the price of 338,5 mill euro while the annualy production of electriity would be 1.600 GWh. Also, the project envisages the thermal station for providing the energy which is the pre-condition for the project of district heating of Pljevlja. The new block will be in line with the best available technology (BAT), the best practice of european countries and environment protection according to all EU directives.
