September consumption reduced by 20.1%

The average September electricity bill for households at the level of Montenegro (if excluding non-read metering points in buildings not inhabited on a permanent basis) amounts to €29.01. Households in Žabljak recorded the lowest average consumption of €20.20, and the highest consumption during the preceding month was recorded in Ulcinj where households consumed €39.94 on the average. Only 0.6% of customers will receive the bill worth more than €150, and consumption of €100 – €150 was read with 0.94% of customers. September bills reduced by the discount awarded to regular payers will be received even by 52.9% of Montenegrin households, or by 175,736 customers.  

On August 1, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has launched the campaign SHARE THE BURDEN 4. The campaign can be joined by all households who owe electricity-related debt, irrespective of the amount thereof, as well as by all households whose electricity-related debt payment protocols, signed two years ago under the campaign Share the Burden 2, expire. The campaign lasts until October 31.

Electricity-related debt, irrespective of the amount thereof, may be repaid by households in fixed monthly instalments of €20 each, without any share, providing that three last electricity bills are paid. The customers have to have settled their bills for June, July and August so as to join the campaign in October. Default interest will not be calculated from the moment of signing electricity-related debt payment protocols, as well as during regular settlement of bills based on electricity-related debt payment protocol signed. In order for the payment protocol to remain in force, an instalment of €20 and the present electricity bill have to be paid regularly on a monthly basis.  

Moreover, a reminder, the third round of the prize contest ‘Let the Good Energy Drive You’ starts soon, when another Ford Mondeo is going to be awarded in addition to many other prizes. Only members of the Golden Team will be entitled to participate in this round, or all the customers who have settled their electricity bills from December of 2015 through November of 2016 on a regular and continuous basis.
