Signing the protocol in action “Share the weight” starts on September 2nd

From Monday, September 02, we will start signing the protocol on settling debt in fixed monthly installments of 20 euros for all consumers from category households who orderly, continuously, within set deadlines paid their obligations towards EPCG (may bill until June 30th, June bill until July 31st, July bill until August 31st). Also, all consumers who already had a signed protocol can reprogram it in September and sign a new one if they orderly settled their obligations by protocol in May, June and July which means that they paid their bills until the last day of the month.

When signing a protocol consumers are obligated to pay their first installment of 20 euros along with August bill by September 30th, in order for protocol to be valid. Consumers who sign the protocol are obligated to, by the end of each month, pay 20 euros and their current bill for electricity, in order for protocol to remain intact. If these conditions are not met, protocol will automatically be nullified and the buyer will no longer be able to renew it under same conditions.
Let us remind, all consumers who have debt up to 500 euros, number of installments is determined by dividing total debt with 20 euros (if the debt is 400 euros, number of installments is 20), and consumers with higher debt than 500 euros will sign it on 25 months – 24+1. Let’s remind, from the moment of signing the protocol, interest on debt is stopped being calculated.

Also, we wish to repeat, because of great interest of consumers for the action “Share the weight”, the deadlines were expanded, so consumers who regularly paid their bills for June, July and orderly pay August bill until the end of September, will be able to sign a protocol in October.

After settling entire debt, consumers will have the right to use multiple advantages available to regular payers. Around 129 thousand consumers are regularly settling their obligations towards EPCG.
