Support prior to World Cup

Before the start of World Water polo Cup in Barcelona, Water polo and swimming association of Montenegro signed a contract on general sponsorship with traditional partner EPCG, friendly contract with NLB bank, as well a contract on golden sponsorship with company Azmont Investments Azerbaijan Montenegro.

Successful resolution of funding issues is one of the most important conditions for achieving top results and justifying the expectations of sports and much wider public. When it comes to water polo these expectations are high. In Barcelona “Montenegrin Sharks” travel with great ambitions, to win one of three medals in extremely strong competition.

“Contract on general sponsorship of Water polo and swimming association of Montenegro, as well as a contract with Montenegrin Basketball association, are the confirmation of EPCG’s commitment to contribute to the development and affirmation of professional sport and state of Montenegro which is in the best possible way represented by its athletes all around the world. These boys made us feel proud and happy many times before. We hope that during the upcoming competitions “Montenegrin Sharks” will win gold which they objectively deserve. Therefore I invite you to believe in them and encourage them towards our sporting dreams. It want be easy, but I am sure that they will give their best and in the best way represent national colors”, said Ranko Vojinovic from EPCG.

Aleksandar Ticic, vice president of Water polo and swimming association, expressed satisfaction regarding contract on sponsorships which come in the right time, just before Barcelona.

He reminded that EPCG is their general sponsor since 2006, and that during that cooperation Montenegrin representation made great results.

“The best very successfully cooperate; sponsors always go with the best. We hope that the cooperation will be continued and crowned in Barcelona”, said Ticic.
CEO of VPSCG Petar Porobic stated that these contracts made a good basis for achieving top results.

“With this kind of support, our players just have to give their best in Barcelona and prove that they deserve continued support. It will be tough, the competition is strong, but our potential and will to bring the medal to our country is also great. Our ambition is for it to stay that way”, said Porobic.

Nikola Janovic said that these sporting contracts are very important for them because it gives them the opportunity to prepare well for big competitions.
