Children from Bijela in the basketball camp Kolašin 2018: Human gesture of EPCG

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has decided again to bring joy to the children from the Public Institution Children's Home 'Mladost' from Bijela by human gesture. For the second time during last three years EPCG made it possible that 12 children participate in the basketball camp in Kolašin organized by our celebrated basketball players Savo Đikanović and Vlado Šćepanović.

The teacher from the Children's Home 'Mladost', Drago Samardžić, has emphasized that children were eager to come again to Kolašin and that donation of EPCG is very important.

- I would like to use this opportunity to thank EPCG in the name of all employees and especially in the name of the children, for this beautiful gesture. First time when we participated in the camp children were quite sceptical whether they would complete all the tasks, they were in a kind of a safe zone and had a kind of resistance towards all of that. We arrived almost as the same team, completed the camp and returned with beautiful memories and impressions. When we learned that they will go again to the camp everybody in the Home started to study in order to improve their school grades so that they deserve to come again to Kolašin. Every type of donation to this children is precious, but most precious donations are those thanks to which children make new friends. This is a full shot, they will meet new friends and great basketball players, all that would mean a lot to them – added Samardžić.

One of the founders of the basketball camp in Kolašin, Savo Đikanović, thinks that EPCG made a right move and that participation in the camp 'Kolašin 2018' would mean a lot for the children from the Children's Home.

- I think this is a great idea of EPCG, because children from the Children's Home will have a chance to hang out with other children, socialize, meet Kolašin, compete and win awards. All that is very important for them - said Đikanović.

Our celebrated basketball player, Vlado Šćepanović, also thanked EPCG for an extraordinary cooperation and very valuable donation.

- This is one very positive and serious story for children from the Children's Home 'Mladost'. It means a lot to them that they are part of this camp, last time they were delighted and very satisfied. It is very important that they socialize as much as possible and that they hang out with other children. In seven days they will gain life experience which would mean a lot to them - said Šćepanović.

IV international basketball camp in Kolašin begun on June 27th and it would last until July 15th. Organizers made an effort to enrich the camp with many innovations. Children have an opportunity to learn from the best and acquire new knowledge and skills which will be very useful to them.
