EPCG donated for furniture of Primary School „Luka Simonović“

Elektroprivreda Crne Gore has once again made an example of social responsibility by participating in donating of furniture for school playground of the Primary School ''Luka Simonović''. Namely, few days ago, the school ceremony took place in the playground of this primary school from Nikšić on the occasion of getting the playground with new recreation and educational means. On this occasion, Veselin Grbović, the mayor of the Municipality of Nikšić, said that local self-government will continue to support similar ideas hoping that there will be more such initiatives in Nikšić. The new playground is opened upon initiative of the association „Roditelji“ with the slogan “Vratimo djeci igrališta!“ (Bring the playgrounds back to children)!

Ana Lalović, pedagogue of the Primary School „Luka Simonović“, expressed the gratitude to EPCG for its financial support in the amount of 900 euros and pointed out the importance of such support provided by our company for conceptualizing and fully creating this place for game which is integral part of learning and growing up.  She also pointed out that local self-government, Hypo Alpe Adria bank, Monte Nik Garden, Viking boje and Parents Council of PS „Luka Simonović“ also participated in financing of this project.

- The new furniture in our playground will serve for socializing and learning through physical activities, as well as for making the children feel that school is their second home. The new games conceived by the pupils and teachers and illustrated on the school concrete plateau will also contribute to the previously mentioned. The atmosphere is also made pleasant by planting of flowers and decoration plants, which will enrich the ambience and which is also created by our teachers and pupils – Ana Lalatović said.

Talking about motivation for the campaigns aimed at welfare of the children and school, Eleonora Albijanić, manager of the Sector for External Communication in the Directorate for Public Relations, said that it was the pleasure of EPCG to accept the invitation of association 'Parents'.me to take part in reconstruction of children's playgrounds.   

- Children's playground furniture isA purchased from financial donation of EPCG. Thankful and joyful children's faces, as well as their dedication and desire to take part in creative illustration of different games represent the best proof that the campaign was successful and that it was worth the effort. We hope that the energy with which pupils participated in development of this space is the guarantee that the new playground will be preserved, Eleonora Albijanić said.
